Just two kilometers from the city of Pärnu is Tahkuranna, home of the Pärnu Bay Golf Links. Tahkuranna takes its Estonian name from its sandstone substrate, which serves as the basis for its stunning natural beauty where forest meets sea, creating the sandy soil and coastline as well as the gentle sea breeze that are the very definition of a links course.
Pärnu Bay Golf Links is a links course in the true sense of the word: a coastal stretch of land with sandy soil and fescue grasses - a true test of a golfer's ability.
The course was designed by architect Lassi Pekka Tilander with Mick McShane as the lead shaper, best known as the lead shaper for St. Andrews Links’ Castle Course and Kingsbarns Golf Links.
The course is the first links course in the Baltic region and features wide fairways and expansive sand areas, as well as multi-leveled greens with bold movement. The par-72 course plays from 4,500 to 6,200 meters. The course also features par-three course of 5 holes, driving range, putting green, marvelous clubhouse facing the sea with a fully equipped pro shop, saunas and restaurant EAGLE offering Scottish flavors with a Nordic twist.Scorecard Slope

A top the highest point on the course, the glass-walled restaurant offers a breathtaking 360-degree view - diners may enjoy the sea, forest, or golf course, or all three with just a turn of the head. The panoramic terrace is ideal for drinks and dining, or for an unparalleled view the first shots and finish of any tournament.
Eagle Restaurant fuses Scottish flavours with local venison and seasonal garden vegetables. There is also plenty of seafood, as the chef was inspired by the diet of the course’s patron bird, the osprey. The result is a nicely balanced and modern menu. An excellent venue for private- and corporate events all-year-round.
